We planted a couple of raspberry bushes and they’re growing like wildfire! I have NO idea what to expect, but hopefully we’ll get something edible! Can’t wait to see which blackberries win the contest!
Expect them to sucker like crazy. Find some way to contain the roots or they will pop up all over next season.
Unfortunately, the drought this summer took its toll on both the cultivated and wild blackberries. The harvest was dismal.
